Cryptozoology is the study and pursuit of animals whose existence have not yet been proven. This includes animals or creatures such as Big foot and Chupacabra. Cryptozoology also deals with creatures and animals that are thought to be extinct, but are sometimes claimed to have been sighted. This includes sighting of living Dinosaurs, the Thylacine (Tasmanian Tiger/Wolf) and other creatures that have either naturally died out, or were driven to extinction. Cryptopokeolgy is the Pokémon equivalent of this field. Basically this is a group that that both creates, and is for people who creates rare and/or mythical Pokémon. Be it from the official Pokémon roaster, or entirely fan made (Fakemon/Fakémon). However, only art/literature of rare and/or elusive Pokémon is allowed to be submitted. This includes Pokémon such as Chansey, Dratini and/or Zorua. To better help you understand, here is a list of Acceptable Real Pokémon. Any Pokémon on that list is welcomed. We also love innovative people who explore and define Pokémon in a more 3-dimensional manner. This includes explaining or illustrating a Pokémon's unique physiology, genealogy and much more. Making a Pokmon seem more realistic is one of the greatest joys we have as Cryptopokeologist. Submission Rules We allow up to 5 submissions a day. This is due to the groups size, and to give everyone fair exposure. Submissions to the featured folder are subject to a vote by the administrative staff. All other folders automatically accept your art and stories; however, please submit to the proper folders when you can. If you are confused on which folder(s) to submit to, please feel free to ask the staff. We will try to help as soon as possible. Anything submitted to the improper folder may be declined and/or removed at a staff member's digression. Only Fake, Mythical and/or Rare Pokémon are allowed. Again, here is a list of Acceptable Real Pokémon. as deemed by the Founder and Co-Founder. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask one of the staff members. Again, we will try to help you with your questions ASAP. Only Pokémon, and/'or Pokémon related submissions are allowed.
